We are an independent EASA approved ATO flight school offering a broad spectrum of private and professional pilot training courses. Flight training is provided for individuals but also business partners like other flight schools, and commercial operators. Our unique syllabi are tailored towards de operational aspects of real-life flying and enhanced pilot skills. Numerous pilots wishing to take their aviation career to the next level received quality and comprehensive flight training and support from SKY academy.

SKY academy is open for business year round, 24/7. We cater fully towards the wishes of our customers
There are no waiting lists or preset training dates. Training can be commenced at any moment.
Logistical Support
Arrangement and coordination of your logistical needs is included in all training packages and free of charge.
All logistical needs regarding transportation, lodging and pilot supplies will be handled by our dedicated staff.
Flight Instructor Team
If you are passionate about aviation, you will really like our team of likewise minded flight instructors. You will be trained by the best pilots Europe has to offer; highly capable and passionate professionals.
Each one of our instructors is also Flight Examiner, and/or actively engaged as Airline Pilot, TRI, TRE, or Air Traffic Controller. Some of our flight crew started their career as Officer-Pilot in the AirForces. Combined our instructor team has over 50.000 flight hours of flight experience to offer you.
Advanced Aeronautics
Every one of our students will receive a comprehensive Flight Safety Training which is focused on the prevention and recognition of hazardous flight situations. We place great emphasis on Basic Flying Skills and UAS (Undesired Aircraft State) avoidance and recovery throughout the training course.
Our pass score for all our students is 100%.
SKY academy incorporates SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) directly derived from the airlines and based upon the latest developments in the field of CRM (Crew Recourse Management), both multi-crew as single-pilot.
Our objective is to prepare the student thoroughly for the Skill Test and beyond to teach the skills required to become a confident and competent operational Pilot in Command.
Accelerated Flight Training
This is an intensive program designed to teach piloting skills in a shorter than normal timeframe. Accelerated Flight Training (AFT) has a long history of proven effectiveness. It is the method used by the military and airlines
because it: saves time, money, and builds stronger skills.
Typical completion times are: Commercial 10 Days, Instrument 20 Days, and Class ratings 5 days.
PERFORMANCE BASED EVALUATION
Flight training progress at SKY academy is based upon your personal experience, performance and learning curve.
We do not work with a predetermined (flight) training hours, other than the EASA required minima. Once you meet the training objectives on the CAA required performance level, we will sign you off for your Skill Test.
Your Own Airplane?
SKY academy offers it’s students the unique opportunity to utilize their own airplane (of choice) for flight training. Using an aircraft of your own choice is possible, provided certain criteria are met (insurance, approval, CAMO). If desired, the aircraft has to be put on our ATO license.
Furthermore, the CAMO needs to draw up a contract with our flight school. A flat fee of € 800,00 is charged for processing fees and arranging all necessary legal steps.
Intake Procedure
Once you have accepted our proposal we will send you the training agreement, sales conditions requirements and invoice for the training course. After payment you will get your:
- Personal training plan;
- Documentation;
- Student File;
- Study materials, personal ground school syllabus.
You are required to have studied the theoretical subjects before ground school commences.
